When we met this particular client, they had a very particular request. They had recently purchased a home with an eye-sore of a concrete pad in the backyard, and they were hoping to turn it into something much more natural and relaxing. Through discussion with the client, we determined that a garden & BBQ space, within a modest budget, would be perfect. We designed a simple notched pergola with matching cedar planter boxes to a spec. that created a warm and attractive space, while maintaining plenty of elbow room.
